Andrew Blanke
Oboist and recorder player, Andrew Blanke is a prolific performer in the areas of historical and modern practice. He holds performance degrees from the Eastman School of Music and the Juilliard School, and enjoys a varied career performing with groups around the country. He’s played as the principal oboe of Austin Philharmonie since 2021 and has recently performed with the American Classical Orchestra, Handel and Haydn Society, Bach Vespers at Holy Trinity, Apollo’s Fire, and American Bach Soloists to name a few. He resides in Washington Heights and frequently programs chamber concerts in and around New York City.
