Caroline Wolfe

Caroline Wolfe (soprano) is attending Longy School of Music to pursue a Masters of Music in Vocal Studies and Historical Performance. She also holds a Bachelor of Music from Oberlin Conservatory. Caroline is a student of Dr. Dana Varga and Pamela Dellal and has previously studied under Lorraine Manz, Dr. Randal Woodfield, and Sommer Garner. She has sung with Longy Opera Experience, Oberlin Opera Theatre, and Opera Susquehanna. Caroline premiered the role of Girl in Rachel J. Peter's and Royce Vavvrek's new opera The Wild Beast of the Bungalow (2020) and has also produced, directed, an d performed in several one-act operas, including Dominick Argento's Miss Havisham's Wedding Night (2019). Although not currently working in any ministry, Caroline was previously a soloist and the soprano section leader at Christ Church Cambridge in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and at Saint Peter's United Church of Christ in Amherst, Ohio, as well as the music minister and cantor for Oberlin Newman Catholic in Oberlin, Ohio.

Caroline is a musician, leader, activist, and entrepreneur who strives to bring community together. She enjoys pushing boundaries and paving new paths in her artistic career. Her mission is to break down antiquated barriers in classical music in order to make it relevant to all people.
