He has played with the Orange County-based early music group L'Esprit Baroque since 2014, and performs with his partner Sylvia Schwartz in the duo Guts Baroque. He maintains a large teaching studio, primarily at Vienna Music Institute in Irvine, CA, and has been the cello coach for three high schools in Irvine Unified School District. In September 2020, he and his partner relocated to Portland, Maine.
