Margaret Ann Metcalf

Margaret Ann Metcalf, or Ann to her friends, began bass as part of a public school music program in Atlanta, GA. Her studies continued at Boston University (B. Mus.), the Alexander Schneider Christmas String Festival, Boston University Tanglewood Institute, Brevard Music Center, and Eastern Music Festival. In addition to PBE, she performs with the Portland Symphony, OperaMaine, and Portland Ballet. When not on stage, Ann is often swimming and has completed Peaks to Portland Swim six times.
