Zoe Hardel

Zoe Hardel is a sophomore at the Peabody Conservatory studying with Alan Stepansky. As a high schooler she attended the New England Conservatory preparatory program, studying with soloist Allison Eldredge and touring Europe with their premiere youth orchestra under David Loebel. Some of her performances include soloing with NEC’s Youth Repertory Orchestra, as well as playing alongside the Portland String Quartet for the inauguration of Maine’s current governor, Janet Mills. Zoe has attended several music festivals, including Bowdoin International Music Festival and Montecito International Music Festival, and has studied with cellists such as Ko Iwasaki and David Ying. She also has won masterclasses with Lynn Harrell as well as David Garrett, and is attending conservatory on multiple scholarship awards for orchestral and musical excellence. This summer, she will be attending Meadowmount School of Music to study and perform with Julia Lichten. Zoe is thrilled to be a part of the 2021 Portland Bach Experience!
