Classical Uprising and Portland Bach Experience (PBE) are looking for two interns to work with our team before, during, and after the 2025 Portland Bach Experience festival in a hybrid arts business internship.
Format
This internship is comprised of two distinct working timeframes:
June 1-17: 30-40 hours/week — on-site in Portland, ME at the Portland Bach Experience festival
June 18-August 8: 20-30 hours/week — remote
Qualifications
This is both a public facing and administrative role that requires evening and weekend work hours. The ideal candidate is a motivated, reliable self-starter with incredible initiative that can work independently as well as with a team. Strong written and verbal communication and detail-oriented skills are a must, as is proficiency in Google Docs. Intern must be willing and able to lift heavy objects (boxes, instruments, etc). Access to a car during the on-site portion of the internship is highly preferred but not required.
