Laura Del Sol Jiménez

Colombian Flutist Laura del Sol Jiménez performed with the Bogotá Philharmonic Orchestra and Colombia National Symphony Orchestra before moving to the US in 2015. Laura has also appeared as a soloist, chamber musician, and with orchestras in China, Japan, Israel, Italy, Argentina, Chile, and throughout the United States. In 2015 Laura founded the Linos trio, which toured South America and produced an album premiering music of contemporary Latin American composers. Currently based in Maine, Laura frequently performs as a soloist and chamber musician across the New England region and serves as flute faculty at the Portland Conservatory of Music and is Director of the Conservatory’s Certificate Program.
