Nathan Varga

Nathan Varga maintains a vibrant career as a double bassist in the Eastern New England area. He is regularly engaged in performances ranging from orchestral, choral, and chamber music to period performance, opera, and theater. He holds degrees from Boston University and Baldwin Wallace College. Desiring to engage a diverse audience, he also enjoys presenting original music and arranging covers with colleagues and friends. Nathan currently holds positions with New Bedford Symphony, Cape Cod Symphony, Portland Symphony Maine, and Emmanuel Music. Other interests include cycling, woodworking, synthesis and electronic music, bicycle-mechanics, and being outdoors.
